At Pacific Boatland’s current location on Highway 99, the Salmon Creek Grange Hall was built in 1923 and became a historic landmark. Decades later, in 1958 Pacific Sporting Goods took over the old Hall. In Oregon, Tom Wright started out as a line bench mechanic in the boat industry, and many years later turned his love for boats into his business. He bought Pacific Sporting Goods in 1973 and renamed it “Pacific Boatland.” Wright and his wife, Helen, operated their business with a straightforward goal: keep customers and employees happy. In 1993, there efforts were rewarded with the honor of being named Four Winns Dealer of the Year.

In January 2001, David and Cheryl Fredrickson of David Fredrickson Entertainment LLC, purchased the business. 2007 was a big year for the business, with the addition of new owners and a new certification! Pacific Boatland became one of the first dealers in the area to become National Marine Manufacturers Association certified, ensuring safety and quality equipment. Dave and Debi Lanphear of Outdoor Recreation Enterprises, purchased Pacific Boatland in May 2007 and the name was expanded to Motorsports and Marine. In their first year, they have added a line of Arctic Cat snowmobiles and ATVs and continued to offer service and sales that the business is known for.

To this day it remains the only full line marine dealership in Clark County, WA. Easy to find at 11704 NE Hwy 99, Pacific Boatland is convenient to all of Southwest Washington and the Greater Portland area. An acre of fenced and secured storage and display area will at any time be full of new, used and service customer inventory.

Our upstairs indoor showroom consists of 2,500 square feet of Arctic Cat products and accessories as well as boat and watersport accessories.
